Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Bookivia provides an AI booking assistant for local service businesses. This page is maintained by Bookivia and explains how we handle personal data. Questions? Email privacy@bookivia.com.

2. Information we collect

Account data you give us (name, email, phone, business name, working hours, services and pricing), booking and messaging data created when your clients contact you (phone number, message content, appointment details), billing data processed by Stripe, and basic technical data such as log and device information.

3. How we use it

To operate the assistant and reply to your clients, create and manage bookings, send appointment reminders and missed-call text-backs, provide support, process subscriptions, and keep the service secure and reliable.

4. Service providers

We share data only as needed with the providers that power Bookivia: our cloud hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, Twilio for text messaging, and our AI model provider for generating replies. We do not sell personal data.

5. Text messaging consent

As the business owner, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to text your clients and for honouring opt-out requests. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from your number.

6. Data retention

We keep account, booking and message data for as long as your account is active. When you close your account we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data by contacting us at privacy@bookivia.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

8. Security

Access to your data is restricted to your own account, data is encrypted in transit, and payment card details never touch our servers — they are handled directly by Stripe.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
